Love it! Our lab likes to bring two at a time, just in case that pesky black dog nicks one.

Tennis balls last about 5 min at the most with our Labrador Charlie!  I have yet to find a ball he cannot destroy.

Not cheap, but I was recommended Chuckit Ultra Balls by other Border Terrier owners, as pup is a ball addict and she loves to bite down on a ball.   After hours of play, these are still intact and as new.  We have the small ones, but the medium seems more tennis ball size.  We keep her favourite kong air balls for playing together outside and she gets the chuckit ball for inside mostly at the moment (they don't squeek, and she is also a squeek addict  :D).  I'd have a trail of dead, shredded, and swallowed kong balls or tennis balls otherwise  ::). Worth a try.

Just reminds me that these Lab's are daft and lovely. Would not be without ours and like the previous post he prefers to destroy rather than chase a tennis ball.

Great picture!  I wonder what he's thinking?
we also rescue rabbits and guinea pigs, grow own veg

We go through a lot of tennis balls here, too. It's as if I say 'seek and destroy!'.   Loads of shredded neon green bits everywhere, silly dog. I finally found some 'hockey' balls, solid neon pink hard poly balls, mostly so we could find them when needed, like between shrubs, hidden among tall grass, etc.
