Title: seed sower

I'm thinking about buying a seed sower the one I was looking at was I think in Suttons around about twelve quid

has anyone bought or used a seed sower if so how do you rate it and would you recomend me buying one tryed the magic seeder could't get on with that and the round plastic adjustable one also not impresed with that to any info much appreciated

I have used a pro seeder for two seasons and I find it very useful for sowing tiny seeds in to modules.

 It works by using one of three sized tips: you push the air out and use the vacumn to pick up individual seeds  :tongue2:and then push the air out to deposit the seed.   I don't use it for med/large seeds. but if you sow lots of tiny/expensive seeds, you might want to give it a go.  It does take a little practice to do it without thinking.  I used a couple of plates to practice.  And you still might want to have reading glasses handy   :tongue2:
