Santa baby ...
« on: December 21, 2019, 17:19 »
I haven't actually expressed any interest in a sable under the tree, but I have been a good(ish) girl and have a list, including some gardening goodies :)

Top is some fiendish Japanese gardening tools - I will be a plot ninja next year you know  :nowink:   I'm also hoping for some good old usefuls, like gloves, plus a voucher or two.

What have you asked for?

Well, I asked Mrs Growster, and we went and bought it a few weeks ago...

Still, I'll be able to watch my terrible old films in the privacy of my own eyes and ears!

Actually, we bought Mrs Growster's online a couple of months ago, and the paper will cost nearly as much!

Well ive been after a poly tunnel for a while now but I don’t think I’ll be getting it as hubby wants to build it for me  ??? :). At this moment in time I’d just like a full nights sleep & our 2 grandchildren ( who are living with us temporarily) to be better.

We tend to buy our presents during the year then when we unwrap them it's often oh, I forgot about that and there's always a secret one we buy each other as a surprise. All I've asked for is another cat calendar as there's nothing else I really want. In the New Year I'll see if there's a pair of French navy shoes I could buy to match the handbag OH bought for me when we were on our Scottish cruise.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Santa you really bossed it this year  :D  I used my fiendish new hand hoe today for the first time and it is officially the best thing ever.

https://www.niwaki.com/store/hand-hoe/

Beautifully made and I fell in love when it arrived with the business end neatly wrapped in a bit of Japanese newspaper.  Makes weeding a cinch as you chop and let the weight of the tool unearth the offending item.   I dug holes to plant stuff and chopped suckers off the base of fruit trees, plus weeded several raised beds in no time.  I got the weeding hoe as well but have not used it yet.  There will be more appearing on the birthday list  ;)

Were your pressies good  :)

For the first year EVER, people actually listened when I said I don't want anything at all. I hate surprises, I hate having to pretend whatever it is was exactly what I wanted/needed so this year I finally got my nothing. I treated myself to some Christmas day shopping on the T&M website, today I got all the dispatch emails  :D
