Grow Your Own / Are you giving your tomato plants asprin?
« Last post by InWarwickshire on May 26, 2024, 13:45 »Watched a Youtube video yesterday from an American `expert` who suggested spraying tomato plants with a solution of asprin dissolved with water. Supposed to increase vitamins,taste, growth etc. Anyone come across this before? I wouldn`t bother even if Monty Don suggested it.

Saw something quite a while ago from someone who had sprayed his chilli plants with a solution made from a well known washing up liquid brand and a few hours later a number of the plants completely shed their leaves! Fortunately the plants didn't die and grew new leaves.

They seem especially fond of eating all my onions and lilies!
Anyone else experiencing a particularly slimy year?
Yep: onion, beans and squash plants totally devastated......
