Made a massive vat of beef stew yesterday so it'll be that for tea again tonight.

I had planned on doing cottage pie but I think Id prefer cheese on toast, with a slash of Worcestershire sauce.

Sweet and sour pork and tofu with rice.  Non battered version, just marinated and shallow fried with a potato starch coating to make it crispy and with a proper sweet and sour sauce, not that red gloop they give you in takeaways.

I did include peppers and spring onions, but no weird bits of fruit.  I have a bit of a shudder response to hot fruit in my dinner

Against all odds, I'm planning a chicken casserole today, so Kent Fire Brigade might have to be be on Red Alert...

The one bolted leek we have has now reached four ft, so I'll also need a degree in surgery to hoik out the middle bit and sort out the rest of the leaves, which are usually OK if treated properly!

As usual, Mrs Growster will be instructing me from the comfort of her recuperating chair - I hope!

Deconstructed cottage pie and it's about time I had a pile of mixed veg. Lump of venison taken out of the freezer for tomorrow, it's been in there since 2019 so might be past it's best - if so I'm sure Max will enjoy it and I'll be having a cheese sandwich for Christmas lunch ::) .

I made a chicken casserole today, and it was hideous!

I'm trying to build up Mrs Growster, not clonk her on the head with such a poor delivery..:0(

She's graciously said that I'm still learning, which is so true!
