I put carrots, swede, potatoes, lentils, split peas and a couple of orphan meatballs (found at the bottom of the freezer  ::)) into the slow-cooker this morning, and I'm just baking a batch of sunflower seed baps. I forgot them when they were proving and they had risen to a humungous size. They'll probably be very holey but they smell lurvely  ::)

Steak  :D

I have roasted some peppers to make a salad with a balsamic dressing, plus there is some green leafy stuff as well.

I'm just baking a batch of sunflower seed baps. I forgot them when they were proving and they had risen to a humungous size. They'll probably be very holey but they smell lurvely  ::)

Some hm bread here as well to mop up juices from steak and peppers, but sunflower seed baps sound sooooooo good.  Don’t care if they are holey, I’d be happy to scoff them

Found a small portion of pasta, with bacon and veg, in the bottom of the freeze, so I'll microwave that plus cook some mixed veg also ftf.  Can you tell the CBA fairy is here again?  ::)

M&S special offer traditional chicken tenders (whatever they are) and as the oven will be on, a few oven chips, mushies and no doubt there will be a few beans. Well it is Friday after all.

Sea Bass fillet defrosting, and I think, peas, mash and parsley sauce to go with it.

Turns out that chicken tenders are just breaded chicken fillets  ::)

I made the leftover mince and the half a tin of beans from yesterday into chilli, it in the slow cooker. Might nuke a spud as I'm not in the mood for rice and had chips yesterday. Alternatively I could drag my sorry self into the kitchen and make some bread and put it on toast.
