I stir-fried onion, sliced sugar-snap peas, bacon bits, garlic and mushrooms and when cooked I stirred in some Philadelphia garlic& herb cheese and tipped it over some spaghetti

When I've tried doing that sort of thing MoS the philly has split when I've added milk to thin it  are you just heating it neat?

Nuked a spud and added so some poor man's boursin  too. I really need to eat something green tomorrow.

Kiddie tea last night - fish fingers, chips and peas.

Case of the cba fairy here combined with a not working larder fridge has totally changed how we cook & eat & plan! So chicken breasts taken out of the freezer this morning with no real knowledge of what to have, so new potatoes being boiled prior to roasting, then the chicken roasted with peas ready shelled leftover from yesterday & french beans, probably with mayo, & as hubby is doing it who am I to argue.

Yes, not very strongly but yes, mildly fishy like battered or breaded fish fillets

I buy jumbo fish fingers, you get more fish with the breadcrumbs 

It was a cba tea, so I had a jacket potato with beans and a couple of bacon rashers

Is it the taste or texture thing? I used to really dislike them but it turned out just to be the way they were being cooked.

I don't like fish either but most supermarkets do their own brand chilled jumbo cod ones and I buy them occasionally (when on offer  ) , they're much better than the boxed "fish" fingers far less fishy.

I shall look for the chicken ones.  Cannot abide fish, not even the smell.  Got to go for my Click and Collect in 30 mins, so dinner will be whatever I fancy out of the bags.

Fish fingers are one of my 'comfort' foods.  I have them in sandwiches or with chips and peas for tea.  Always with brown sauce of course.  The 'Captains' are my favourites although I will eat others.  I have even made my own.  For tonight I've been told we're having chicken kiev and chips.
