Our first Barbecue at the new house and it was epic. Mango and coconut marinated chicken, tikka chicken kebabs, hot dogs and plot corn on the cobs. Also made a pesto potato salad.

Tried these yet Lardman?

https://www.pataks.co.uk/products/spice-pastes/madras-paste-pot

Not tried the pataks stuff for ages, although I remember the madras in a tin being pretty good. I'll slap one on the shopping list. It's the supermarket chicken that's the problem it all tastes likes rancid butter to me. I'm not sure if its the preservative or "added water" but it's ruining all my quick curry and spicy noodle stuff.

Got into the habit of planning the weeks meals when I worked full time.  Always some sort of fish on Friday, tonight is cheese omelette and salad.  Tomorrow is chicken and mushroom pie.

Sausage and fennel   pasta bake (basically to use up the fennel).  Found the recipe on line.  Garlic bread too (yippee).
