Roast lamb, potatoes and veg.  Lamb has been marinading in garlic and rosemary overnight. It smells lovely.

I was doing so well but the CBA fairy has showed up again.  Gave Max the stew, it was literally too much effort to eat the rest of it. Pork chops are defrosting not sure yet if they'll get covered in spoonstanding, sweet and sour or spiced up Cajun style. I should start buying oven chips or something :nowink: .

Well it was going to be the rest of yesterday’s roast lamb, but hubby just suggested we save that for tomorrow & have chicken breast & wedges so that what it is, plus the lamb can go in a hot pot tomorrow which will be good if we get to do some more on my poly tunnel if ge hoops turn up :D

Oh dear, Paul wanted to cook the curry as he had found a recipe on line for 'left over lamb curry'.  Ever grateful  that I didn't have to cook left  him to it.  Ate two mouthfuls and couldn't eat any more.  He'd      put coriander leaf in it which I don't like and it was all I could taste.  He knows I don't like it and his excuse was ' the recipe said to'. Three hours later and I'm still sat here with a mouth full of sup suds! :nowink:

The other pork chop, was going to do cauli cheese and a jacket ... currently trying to talk myself into being bothered  ::)

Nope didn't manage it - Covered it with S&S sauce and served with plain white rice.

All this talk of lamb ... I've fetched out some of the froze slice leg from the other week for tonight. Mash rather than roasties to soak up the spoon standing, mint sauce and also so I don't have to chase the peas around the plate.  :nowink:

Would love some crumble and custard for pudding - but I don't see it happening  ::)

I only went in for some milk and my paper, but Mr Co op was just reducing a nice big steak and ale pie, that'll do nicely, thank you - peas and French beans ftf will go with it  :) Today and tomorrow sorted!
