Pasta bake except I got the wrong tub out of the freezer and it was chilli not pasta sauce.  It turned out OK though - a bit different, but in a good way  :)

Rhubarb and raspberry jelly for pud with squirty cream.

I was asked to make toad in the hole but someone (not me) forgot to buy the milk needed.  Changed to sausage, egg and chips as he had bought some reduced chips today.  We have already discussed tomorrow and decided curry is on the menu.

I used the last of the ham, with HG tomatoes FTF, to make a sauce for Penne pasta, with cheese on top, of course. Salad bits on the side.

Quick game of guess the dinner from the damage

The roof of my mouth is smooth and blistered.

Today's dinner will be beef stew and probably mash - it's supposed be beef and ale stew, but it will probably end up being beef stew with an ale.  :nowink:

Leftover stew - The beef is tough as old boots despite being in the slow cooker for 8 hours. A trip to the butchers is almost enough for me to warrant getting the car fixed... almost.

Soddages and mash, probably old-style, just with fried onions

I was thinking of making an apple pie, but not sure if I can be bothered to make the pastry   ::)

It's just one of those days - when walking to the Co op for milk and the paper was a real effort *sigh*
There's always tomorrow, so they say!

Chicken and spinach curry with rice, onion, tomato and cucumber salad and some yogurt.

Hopefully a better day tomorrow  :)

Soddages, mash and fried onions sounds wonderful.  I have soddages in the freezer as well.  You may have sorted my tea for tomorrow  ;)
