I have a 3 day old chick who I think is blind, she is smaller than her two sisters and doesn't seem to be growing, when I put her next to chick crumbs (as she can't seem to find them when mum calls) it seems that she can't see them even when they are right infront of her beak. All she wants to do all day is snuggle under mum but she can only do that when mum stays in the shed which you can imagine after 3 weeks roosting she just wants to stretch her legs. Should I put this chick out of its misery before it gets any older?

awww herb, what a  rotten decision.

i agree with aggy, make sure she's just not a slow starter first.  they go up to 48 hours on whats in their tummy's. she may just not be hungry yet.

Yes agree, give it a couple more days, then you could add a drop of wheat germ oil to some l finely chopped hard boiled egg to make sure it has it vitamins. Make sure the chick drinks as well.
