hi there, hoping someone can help me asap.  Solo my single chick (pretty sure its a cockerel now) is 6 wks old and I am having trouble finding grower pellets in small quantities, 20 kg  seems to be the only size I can find.  Is there anyone out there near to disley, cheshire, who could either let me have a small amount or tell me where I can get a small bag. 

Second question! What food does a cockerel go onto next after grower pellets?

My local (not local to you) have 4 Kg bags which they make up themselves. Have you tried your local feed merchants?
If you are planning to keep your cockerel alone which I would suggest you do not. Then he should be able to eat what everyone else eats.

Hi there, thanks for response.  have found a supplier who will split up a bag and sell me a couple of kilos.  Unfortunately, i will not be able to keep Cocky as my neighbours would certainly not appreciate the early morning alarm call.  I have however found someone who will take him when i know definitely.  I shall  be sorry to see him go as he has become quite tame and is very cut to look at.  By the way he is a Blue Araucana.
