Has anyone else used this?  I put some between my fruit bushes and seems to work OK wondering whether to get some more?  Or is there a better alternative?

Never heard of it, but that certainly doesn't mean it's no good..............

I've Googled to find out what it is but how much is it?

I have used it on a flower bed in the past - it kept the weeds down quite well. Have put it around my strawberries and raspberries this week.
I paid £6.99 a bag, last one in stock at our local nursery,  but they said it will be £7.99 in the new delivery. May have to look around for a better price if I use it again.

I'd be really interested to know what the 'patented process' is that stops straw from rotting. It surely has to involve chemicals of some kind, in which case how is it organic?

There is a much cheaper alternative - grass clippings. :)

I used it last year - it was good. Kept everything quite except couch grass and horsetail.
