Bessie and Brood
« on: March 04, 2012, 15:51 »
My lovely girl who was rescued when 6 weeks pregnant with her absolutely adorable babies, now 6weeks old today.

This was their first time to get really brave and try the great outdoors. They absolutely loved it and Bessie was skipping with delight, leaping around and playing with them. This part of motherhood obviously suits her much better than the confines of the kennel!  :D

I am so tempted myself joyfull though that could well change in the next week or so. ::) I suspect we have nine little vandals!

Bessie will have to take them out and get them really tired every day.  :D

She is such a lovely mum ...... I slipped up ysterday and let her in with them after her feed. Up it all came for the little gluttons!

Just adorable and I'm so happy she's now enjoying being a mum.  She looks like the pied piper with all her brood behind her  :)

i think there will be a lot of people in a few weeks time with a very difficult decision to make. WHICH ONE OF THE LITTLE BLIGHTERS DO YOU TAKE HOME?
Thrift, i know they are going to be leaving you in the coming weeks but i have to say i also feel for the prospective new owners. i wouldn't be able to choose just one i'd want them all. they are so adorable and a credit to Bessie and you. a sterling job you have done between the 2 of you. i absolutely love the photo's, please keep them coming and to echo what others have said please also keep us updated on bessies progress when they are gone. i think her story has made us all feel like she is  a part of our family too

Thank you so much milos mum. I have really enjoyed the whole project but must admit to feeling a little jaded now. It's certainly not as easy as 30/40 years ago

Bessie is very much a part of the family here ..... so much so that when I walked into the living room earlier she slid swiftly off the sofa

I'll certainly keep the pics coming until departure day and Bessie's progress thereafter.
