This is Bessie's big boy, Max, encountering his first snow with some trepidation. 

It is his first birthday on the 22nd!

It looks as though he's about to jump backwards barking furiously in a high voice.  Scary stuff, that snow....

Yes it's lovely to see the grown up boy. Methinks daddy was a collie!

Ben certainly looks like a collie cross, but then a collie was the most likely father considering you live pretty much in the middle of nowhere.

Latest update is that Max is having a party this weekend!  Some people are more soppy than me but it's wonderful that they love him so much!
