Preferred onion sets

I have:
First Early
Setton
and I am waiting for Marshalls New Fen Globe and Kelsae plants ordered from Fothergills.
A bit of overkill again.
At least I know if its my methods that succeed or fail when I give away to neighbouring plots.
It will be galling if I buy them and they get better results.

Stuttgarter for me grew them last year was very happy with them and they stored well ..Grew red baron was not great storers ..

Today in Aldi onion sets are 99p they have sturton and stutgarter in stock

Thats a good price.

I get mine loose at a local garden centre - I get about 50 sets for about �1.70-�2
