i was indeed talking of the cotyledons i was just wondering if it was these that were wilting or if it was the first "true" leaves because if the "true" leaves are present and healthy i dont think you need to worry as the cotyledons will shrivel up anyway

They have 2 sets of true leaves and some have 3rd set coming. Other than the seed leaves looking a bit crinkly they look really healthy. I'm quite proud of myself really! I have now moved them to another windowsill, not quite as bright. Let's see what that does. And I will keep the foil in situ. Thanks for all your replies
