do ducks need poutry grit?
And if so what what age?

Yes, get the little chick stuff for them to have about pretty much as soon as you get them, although if they get to free range round the garden they will generally pick up their own as they decimate your garden!  :D
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

should the grit be in a seperate feeding dish?
im getting them at a week old does that still apply?

Separate dish available at all times for them to largely ignore! I get the grit and oystershell mix but they just need grit to begin with.
