Hi all,

I need some urgent help, i have a pekin bantam that is suffering from Sour Crop, i think that's what it is.

Her chest was like a balloon filled with water, i took some advice and have massaged her upside down, and out come the most pungent of liquid.

However, i have done this 5 or 6 times now, the chest is less fluidy, but her chest is just filled with corn, i left the bag in the run, and i think she thought she was at a 'eat as much as you can' restaurant.

She is really poorly now, despite me emptying her with this fluid, how can i get shot of the corn, someone mentioned Live Yoghurt with crushed garlic, is there anything else, i'm more concerned about the corn that doesn't seen to be going?

I would keep draining like you are and put yoghurt in the water, I don't think the corn will go until it's digested, do you give grit to help the gisard break up the corn? you my need antibiotics from the vet to help.

I agree  with Topscaff  - if it doesn't clear soon a prescription form the vet will be needed.
