Late Beetroot and Chard
« on: September 11, 2010, 13:05 »
I planted Beetroot and Chard again in July for a better Winter crop that won't bolt and get leaf minor which destroyed the leaves. Is it too late to plant the young plants out ?

My late beetroots and chard are not very old, can't remember when I sowed them, but they are doing well, as is the perpetual spinach I planted.  Even if the beets are huge, Brian will love them whatever size! And I think chard is very hardy isn't it?

question
Beetroot or chard root??
