Welcome biffa53!

I am moving your topic to the "general gardening" section of the site where it is more likely to be seen by people interested in this type of plant.

Please introduce yourself in the "Welcome to the forums" section.  :)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

It is indeed very consumable - my whole family drink it every day!

In answer to the original question -  you can get plants at most garden centres - just check that they are Aloe Vera, there are lots of varieties of Aloe but if you want  Aloe Vera the variety you're looking for is Aloe Barbadensis Miller.

It will give off lots of baby plantlets, or "pups" which you can pot on.  Dunno about seeds.
