great week

Ive not grown veg or even grown anything from seed before but this week I've had my plot for 9 weeks, (previously a field) and have eaten my first lettuce, beet and spinach leaves.  My Braod beans have started to set.  My first parsnip seeds have germinated in the Richy paper pots - and you've promoted me to Full member - wow.

Big thanks to you all for answering my beginners questions, just like you do all the others.  My ambition is one day to be able to answer some-one's veggie questions. 

One day that day will come, and you'll tentatively think that you know the answer to a question, post something and then watch really carefully to see if everyone else agrees with you
