Woke up this morning to find one of my greenhouse horticultural glass pains cracked across the corner .  :x

Do people like Focus , B&Q etc supply single pains ?

If not, what sort of retailer might stock horticultural glass (610mm x 610mm) ?

That's a standard 2 foot square - look in your yellow pages for a glazier - they usually stock them. Prices vary from 1.50 to £3.50

The DIY shed don't stock them.

You can also use that film the cover books with to repair the glass. If it's just a corner especially

Greenhouse glass cracked - Friday the 13th strikes !

We had a problem with a neighbours  teenage son practising golf in his back garden near our plot. We kept finding cracked glass and golf balls .  we replaced the broken glass with clear polycarbonate ,thinking  it will last longer .Eventually tracked down the culprit and spoke to the lad and he was apologetic and promised he would stop. It was a real pain !!(sorry about the pun) What do we do with the bucket full of golf balls we have collected from our garden ??

Quite happy with the polycarbonate so far but it was more expensive than replacement glass. Does anyone know of problems using polycarbonate in greenhouses.

... I've got a greenhouse worth of glass, but some barsteward nicked da frame.  So I could have happily let you have a pane or two.

But I do know if you go to a glazier they will sell you a single pane, no problem.
