Hi looking for a reasonable cost shredder for my garden it would  not be doing anything too heavy... mainly to shred for the compost heap. Anybody got any recommendations for  such a thing?

Sort of depends on what you mean by 'low cost', but my recommendation for a reasonable priced one that cuts through quite large branches is below. There's no point buying one that doesn't handle anything greater than a twig.
