Soft fruit border advice please.
« on: August 07, 2011, 21:43 »
We have recently moved and have a blank canvas really in the garden. All one side veggies, a couple of greenhouses at the end and we are putting a lawn down for the kids, we have decided to put a physical barrier between the lawn and the greenhouses in order to stop any "kids accidentally running into, or kicking something into the greenhouse" accidents. The length of the edible border is 24ft, and today we got...
 1XTayberry Buckingham
1X Raspberry Allgold
1X Raspberry Joan J
1X Raspberry Autumn Bliss
Could anyone with a little more fruit experience suggest some planting distances, we are hoping to put the Tayberry in the centre, and hoping to get some more raspberry canes next week, perhaps some summer fruiters, depending on how much space we have. Thanks,
Totty
