Broom Bush cuttings...
« on: April 24, 2011, 20:51 »
I have the most beautiful Broom Bush in my shrubbery next to one of the greenhouses and I'd love to take some cuttings but I've no idea how, has anyone got experience of this?  I've done cuttings before, but I've not tried a Broom before and I'm nto sure where to take my cut from?

Cheers!

I have looked this up in Peter Thompson's Creative Propagation

Brooms are difficult to propagate by cuttings, but semi mature cuttings taken in July or  August may root.
