For the last few months I have been looking around for a new mattress. I looked at and then rang a shop in Worthing which is privately owned and have a number of shop in Sussex.
About 3/4 weeks ago, they sent me an email to enter a competition for a bamboo mattress -- I have won it.
I thought it was a joke or a scam, but no, straight up. So I am off to their shop in town to choose a new mattress. They are very expensive and I would never have bought one, couldn't afford it. Hurrah. Mrs Bouquet

Oh how wonderful, that’s made up for last week a bit.
I bought raffle tickets at a local produce show yesterday & my number was called, only 3 prizes left so I chose this in the photo below, it was either that or a bottle of wine or a corkscrew set. I chose this a# I thought the grandchildren would love it

I went to the bed shop yesterday. Laid on a bamboo mattress and didn't like it I have got a handmade 3000 pocket spring medium mattress, made in Hampshire with Lambs wool and charcoal and cotton etc. Also the rosette type things are on the inside instead of the top of the mattress. It would be £2,700. It will be about 4/5 weeks to arrive. I did buy a bamboo mattress protector.
What a lovely shop to let me change from the original prize. I am so thrilled. Mrs Bouquet
