Harvesting broccoli

My broccoli is nearly big enough for picking, but I was wondering what to expect from each plant. With Calabrese should I expect any more than just one head, or will more appear after I've cut it away from the plant?

Hi cut the main head and some varieties will throw small heads up the stems, catch the main stem at the right time or it will start to flower and be unedible

Thanks. I'm planning on taking it out this weekend. Hopefully it won't start to flower before then!!
