possible cockrels?

hi i bought 4 chickens about 7 weeks old they are now 9weeks 2 of them started fighting does that mean there cockrels???    and if so when do they start making a noise???

hens will also fight in a bid to establish the pecking order.

I think they can start crowing from about 13 weeks but it varies with different birds. When they start laying eggs you'll know for sure they're girls.  :tongue2:

lol thanks they also look different round the tails 2 are much longer i tried to upload an image but couldnt work out how to make it smaller

Hi in some breeds the tail feathers are more pointed in the cockerel, the hens tail feathers are more rounded

Save your photo from the camera as you would normally. Click on it to open it then click on the icon at the bottom of the photo that opens it for editing. At the top of the screen click on "image" and where it says skew/stretch reduce the size from 100% to about 35% then save it, when you save it rename it so you don't confuse it with the original. Then when you do a post on the forum click on the "additions" and "browse" until you find your new photo. it will appear small on the page until someone clicks on it then it will enlarge. Hope this helps.
