make sure you put it under cover though as the rain may cause the feed to go mouldy 

I spend half my life trying to work out how to make feeders..... thats brilliant

I toyed with the idea of upturned flower post with the water drip tray as the trough.... couldnt work out how to do the joining bit though, so gave up!!

Also seeing how to convert plastic milk bottles for the quail feeders as they will not need to be so big!!
