Title: Flubby doo bee doo - worming!
Post by: susan - happy hens on November 29, 2009, 16:08
Hi hen huggers,
Got the Flubenvet 1% and hubby made up the mix this morning.  The powder all fell to the bottom of the food and I remembered reading that a member had put oil over the pellets to help it stick. So thanks to all you experienced and generous folks I found the posting about adding linseed oil - job done - treatment starts tomorrow.  Do I still give a pinch of poultry spice to my 3 girls? Sometimes I put a piece of crushed garlic in their water but I bought ACV and am not sure on dosage for 3 hens.  Thanks muchly. x Susan ( This site is brill!!)

When I worm with Flubenvet I mix the required amount with a good handfull of sultanas.....

Because they are slightly sticky it does not get wasted, and coz my chooks are mad on sultanas, I know it gets eaten and everyone gets their fair share :)
