Heated throws / ponchos
« on: October 11, 2022, 21:21 »
I spotted a comment by Mrs B in another thread, about electric throws (i.e. a blanket that you use as a throw rather than on the bed), or wearable throws (like a poncho).

Any suggestions on good ones to think about?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I bought a Dreamland electric throw, but I'm not sure how much I'll end up using it tbh.
I wanted one, to keep my shoulders warm, but you cant lay on it, so It works well draped over my shoulders and round the back of the dining room chair, which I use when on PC or crafting - but when I'm watching TV and leant back in the armchair, I'll have to drape it over my front  Time will tell if I can arrange it around my shoulders, as well, without tucking it in...

I think everyone else has had the same idea - sold out everywhere (apart from astonishing prices on e-B-a-y  )

It's not urgent, so will keep an eye out for restocking!!

They seem to have stock on the South American river online store.

I gave up on that plan as I felt I could probably electrocute myself.  Have found a lovely soft fleece throw, in pink, so it looks cosy as well.  Mrs B
