Title: Redcurrant wine, any suggestions how to make?
Post by: WeavingGryphon on May 15, 2020, 10:31
Hello,
Does anyone have a good redcurrant wine recipe?
There are a few on the site from a few years ago, but not many on the internet in general. Those that are there say that the wine was dry, thin and unpleasant. So I'm happy to mix it with other fruit.

We have loads of red currants in the freezer and we haven't got down the jelly I made, which is why there is some steeping with some ancient rum. So we thought, since we're stuck in the house let's start making some wine.

Would redcurrants mix well with rhubarb? Any suggestions how I would go about that?

There is also this recipe, 3rd post down
