What's eating mustard spinach

And my broccollette. It also looks like they are starting on my chard.
Opps pictures to large get back to you. It looks like it's an insect.
There appears to be some small flying insects around the plants.
Wiped out my chard completely. Can't really see anything on the plants?

Hi, I seem to have the same problem on my chard. And after close look I could see tiny caterpillars on the underside of the leaf. To be honest it wasn’t easily detectable, had to get the magnifying glass out to check each leaf. Also found couple of them at the base of the stalks hiding. After removing I sprayed neem oil and soap under the leaves in the evening. But due to rain it’s now washed off so would have to reapply.

Hope this helps

I'd say caterpillar and flea beetle.

No caterpillars visible.  Lots of little fly like beasties around the plants. Seem to have slowed down on chopping on my mustard spinach. Completely destroyed chard on Next terrace up. Found a spot where they are not camping out. Chard is doing okay there. I will have to stay away from that area as I want to start perpetual spinach and giant winter spinach soon.

Spotted the caterpillars. Very small. All chard gone almost within 24hours. Will start again with nets. Able to get some mustard spinach because the leaves are much thicker. Never happy with nets, my whole aims is to make everything easy peasy. Also lost another lot of beetroot to birds. Net there as well. Oh well not great year all round.
