Thought this may help some of the new chicken owners.
We moved our storage cuboard the other day to clean underneath and put in a different position. After emptying it I looked at all the stuff we have bought since having the girls last Sept and didn't realise how much we had or how much we must have spent.
There was :
Layers pellets
Corn
Meal worms
Hemcore
Diotam
Poultry Sheild
Jayes fluid
Virkon
Flunenvet
Limestone powder
Barrier Louse powder
Johnsons Anti mite extra spray
Purple spray
Anti pecking spray
Poultry spice
Poultry pink
Apple cider vinigar
Thats without
4 different feeders
3 Drinkers
2 trugs
brushes
gloves
I am sure I have missed some thing lol.
So if anyone thinks Like I did that getting chickens means cheap eggs WRONG!!!!
Do you think there is anything else that I should get ????? ???

Lol We use brushes for that Mary. Its a job that is done every evening after they have retired so when they get up in the morning they have a tidy place to roam and scratch for about 10 mins or so then it's all back to square one.
We also pooh pick the grass a few times a day. Its a never ending circle of feeding and cleaning lol. ::) ::)
