incubating eggs

Hi i`ve just bought an incubator ready to start hatching eggs (its only small and will hold about 12 bantam eggs) and keep getting conflicting advice on the correct humidity levels, from 30% to 90%, i thought it was 60% then upto 80% for the last 3 days, can anyone help me out with this please.

It depends on the humidity of the room you have your incubator in.  I run mine at 40-45% for the first 18 days (hen eggs), and increase to 60-65% for the last 3 days.

If the humidity is too high during the first days, the chicks can grow too big and fail to pip.
