so where do i start im worried that if i put my seeds in my plastic greenhouse and its cold out they will not wanna grow and just curl up and die before i even get started. i mean how do ya know when to open the zip and to keep it fastened etc.

Where do you start? Reading the back of the seed packets for when/how/in which conditions to sow. Basically, once your seedling is big and strong enough, it goes into a cold frame/greenhouse to harden off and then out into the ground - sometimes under cloches if it gets cold....sometimes you can plant seeds right out into the ground...it depends on so many things, so get a pad and pen and write down variety-for-variety or month-to-month what needs to be planted where and you won't go far wrong.

A lot of it is trial and error, and maybe planting some here...and some there.... and seeing what works best.
