thank you, was saddened by the 2 deaths during the night but he/she seems to be doing well..

i put them onto youtube as  i don't know how to post videos on here

if you just end up with the one try and see if anybody local has a day old chick or two to keep him/her company. If you cant get one then place a little teddy bear in the brooder box to give him/her a friend to cuddle up with.

Craig, it is a lovely chick and it was just a nice video to share - it just wasn't that obvious to me as you have posted about a malformed chick and I wasn't sure if you had experienced more problems or not.

this is the only one that's hatched, the rest have died in the egg, or half out

i researched a lot about raising chickens and chicks, but never saw much about what they looked like after a few hours,
