It is good to know where you can get supplies and especially at good prices.

Jeyes Fluid 1 litre is £6.99 in Home Bargains and double that in our local farm supply shops.   ;)

I have seen an alternative for jeyes online, its called black disinfectant. Exactly the same but cheaper. I think battles make some.

That's the very one, Battles Black disinfectant.

Available from agricultural or horsey outlets, if not poultry and general pet places too. :)

They're just up the road from me. Get all our supplies for our chooks, rabbit and guinea pigs from there. The staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Infact i've just purchased, a right bargain (I think). Got it off Ebay. I am low on disinfectant, this thread reminded me, thank you, so looked up the black disinfectant on there.

Got 10L for £23.00. Including next day P & P. Normally I pay around £20.00 for just bog standard "kennel disinfectant". So considering you'll pay around £7.00/1L for jeyes, I think thats good.

That sounds a bargain, you will have to let us all know what it is like when it arrives.   ;)

Sold where I used to work in addition to Jeyes, and bought by many in preference to Jeyes as they reckoned it did just the same job for a much smaller price. If it helps, it smells the same to me. Wildwitchy's personal experience will be interesting to hear too. :)
