Successional growing vegetables

ok i am all ready for the new years growing but want to avoid gluts of veg.
what veg can i grow Successionaly?
i know there will be a lot but a good idea on the most common would be great.

Be careful with peas, later sowings are more prone to pea moth and mildew. I'd much sooner put all the crop in early, harvest and freeze, then perhaps grow some thing else afterwards.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Beetroot. Harvest them at golf ball size and use fresh. The later sowings can be left till autumn then lifted and stored.
