I wonder how far North they mean on this bright moonlit night? Getting quite nippy here in Northampton!

Someone's got it round their neck, lowest temp forecast is 7oC at John O'Groats according to the Met Office.

Still, it means not blight!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Sorry to hear it sm, but I was referring to the temp at John O'Groats not being conducive. I realise others have it!

Local weather station recorded 8C last night, and inside the greenhouse the minimum reading was 9C, so yes another cold night.
(but we have been getting these cold nights on and off all through this summer ? :( )

It's tonight they are forecasting sub-10C temperatures here (7C according to the Beeb although it could certainly be lower "outside towns and cities".)

Overnight low last night here was 11C, now 10.5C !  ::)

Met Office widget and BBC forecast us at 7 C overnight with chance of a grass frost.  That'll do for the toms which have finally started fruiting and turning red.  ::)

chance of a grass frost.

That's how the weather is done now. Chance we will all see a shower, chance we may see the sun.etc To me 'chance' is quesswork not forcasting.

Bet you nobody gets any frost.

But they were quoting "Down to two degrees in rural areas tonight, so someone might."

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
