Title: Harvested Squash & Pumpkins

We’ve harvested our squashes and pumpkins. What a lot we’ve got! I wasn’t sure if we’d even get a crop this year, so over the moon with the result.

I hope so although we're growing for 4 adults and a grandson who out-eats a hobbit!

They look good John, mine never got going this year, I’ve not even managed 1 courgette! There are some butternuts and the Patty pan have made up for others misdemeanour lol

Our courgettes have been pretty minimal too - probably just as well with courgettes  :ohmy:

Our courgettes have done really well this year - last year, I had about 2 weedy ones.  Two large butternuts - the dog destroyed the third.  The soil was horribly poor when we arrived 18 months ago, and last year we barely had anything off the veg patch, but having manured intensively in the autumn and spring, we've seen a difference this year.  Hoping for even better things next year.
