Title: Beer Crate Making
Post by: grinling on February 10, 2017, 16:42
Hope this works... piccy of the beer crates
I had bed slats and spare ply as well as square timber.
I have made 2 sizes as we have little french beer bottles as well as full size.
Attach inner wood on both sides first.
Idiot proof esp as hubby let me loose on his drill without his knowledge...had shown me how to put the drill bit in.

I have now asked to use the router on some doors we are making.....he hates doing DIY...I am loving it.
Can give sizes if needed

Great use of recycled materials! I have most of a stripped down divan base as part of the frame in my chicken coop :D
How big are they? They look quite large in the photo's... how many bottles do you think you can store in each?

I can hold 3 x 6 little bottles and 5 x large bottles. Doing them so I can stack up.
Wood and ply from ebay...Plytek for ply offcuts.
We bought the wood originally to make for movable cupboards for storing games in with a comfortable height for hubby's wargaming.
