Title: New Plants
Post by: mrs bouquet on May 20, 2020, 16:49
Having two new plants delivered yesterday from local garden centre, they have had a really good soak.  One is a Salvia the other a Tunbaglia.     Shall I wait until it is not so hot to plant them ?    Mrs Bouquet

Do you mean Tulbaghia violacea, aka Society garlic, Mrs B? If so, that doesn't mind full sun, most Salvias prefer a bit of shade rather than being baked.
So, I'd pot them up but put the pots in the position they prefer, at least to start with..

Thank you, yes that is what I meant, slight typing error there.  ::)  I already have the small one "Fairy Star".
I will do as you have said, and keep them in their pots, and keep watering for now.  It is very hot here today.
Thanks again,  Mrs B
