...that what I think/hope are carrots are, actually carrots! Otherwise my painstaking weeding yesterday will be a waste of time...

From this:

To this:

Hmmm...my carrot 'row' doesn't look quite as full now!

Unfortunately I forgot to take a close up photo of one the 'carrots'   but hopefully someone will be able to positively ID them for me  :?:  Unless they are weeds in which case I will cry!

Organic...so far!

Look like carrots from where I'm sitting!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yep! A lot of them had 'wandered' as well, I ended up with lots around my french beans (canes to left of pic) but pulled them up when they were a lot smaller as didn't realise what they were   Oh well I'm going to trying sowing some more to fill in the gaps, might work, might not, worth a try!

hi sal, im guessing your new to all this? note that ther are a couple of weeds that look surprisingly like carrots, but i think they have darker, more 'fleshy' foliage.

eitherway, if those are spring onions beside them, there doing a heck of a lot better than mine

Hi Zak, yep, first time growing! They are 'normal' onions, not spring, dunno what variety though as the sets were donated by my next-plot-neighbour!
