been to wyvale this afternoon and all their seeds are reduced to 50p, didn't need any but still managed to spend £4!! 2011 sow by date on most as well

Offer was on in the Wyevale near me too (Milton Keynes).  Thanks for the hint, got about 19 packs!  With that and the ones I got from Dobbies last week I am just about done for next year!  Brilliant.

I got 13 packets, I treated myself to some that I couldn't justify before (Stringless runners etc. I save seed each year)
 I bought some fun stuff for the kids too, coloured carrots and corgettes etc.

all sort, very pleased all jsut for £6.50!! hurrah, roll on 2009!
(Although I'll have a baby in tow then as well as 2 others!!)

For anyone wondering if they still have any left I went on Saturday and bought 37 packets of seeds :oops:  :oops: .  Admittedly some packets were for the mother in law but most were for me!!!!!

It was our first year this year so we didn't save a lot of seeds as we didn't grow much.

The only thing I struggled on dates was parsnips but I have a huge bounty of seeds to grow next year - just have to buy thge army of pots / compost and a greenhouse to put them all in!

I have just got 24 packets from the one near Woking for £11 (bloke wasn't very good at counting)

as I'm sad I counted up the list price and it came to £51.90

so a £40.90 saving, not bad I Think

there were still baskets full left , veg and Flowers all 50p

My local INSTORE is selling all seeds half price at the moment, this may be the case in other stores too :lol:
