Hi guys not posted for a long time as everything has been going fine
But now one of my hens is falling over to one side a lot her tail is down and she looks very miserable she stopped laying about a month ago and her last egg was a funny shape  it she is almost 3 so I didn't worry too much. They were all wormed about a month ago and frontlined recently. any ideas what could  make her fall To one side and how can I help her or is it best to get the old BRoom handle out?

There's no way of being precise but there is a possibility that she has had a stroke. Is she a hybrid? Unfortunately they generally do not live as long as pure breeds as they get worn out with their egg laying. If her quality of life is poor it may be best to do the deed. I am sure there will be someone along shortly with other suggestions.

Sorry you posted whilst I was posting and have confirmed that she is a hybrid.

she could have had a stroke, I have helped one of mine recover from a stroke before by placing her in a large pet carrier with food and water (the water had critical care formula added to it). I left her there for a few days (in my feed store so under cover). Then let her have a little more space by putting mesh over the half open doors so she could sit and see the others but not get attacked or knocked over by them. This went on for a couple of weeks until she had regained enough strength to rejoin the flock. She never had any side effects and went on to live a happy life.
Bluebells can live quite happily for 5-6 years.
