Natures Paradise,
Peacocks are just fancy phesants...yes Kate they love cake so maybe the "h" is irrelevant!
I feed my peacocks pheasant pellets which I buy in sacks. They need higher protein than poultry. The pellets I get say they're for turkeys as well as pheasants, so maybe ask at your feed store. They also eat the hens food, the dove mix and practically anything they can find! Peanuts will give them the protein they need so probably not too bad but best search out the proper stuff!
Good luck,
Judi

Munty reckons you should get a proper game-bird feed....also cracked grains ie corn barley wheat.....but definitely not peanuts!!...as these are too high in oil and this in turn will bind the crop. You can give them plenty of green-stuff, cabbage, lettuce and weeds, which they like to be chopped. Hope this helps :)
