required...just to put my mind at rest that im doing everything right.

Mum and two chicks appear fine, they are eating and drinking well, got a right pecking when i changed water today hehe.
I'm not sure if the chicks can or want to go outside with mum as there is a small piece of wood they would have to hop on to get out. I'm sure we can remove this to make it accesible but wondered when is normal for them to venture out, they hatched i belive monday evening.

So long as they are separated from any other chooks mum will take them out when she feels they are ready. Take the wood out if it's an obstacle course for them.
