Title: "pre-mixed" Cheshunt Compound - ok to keep?
Post by: fekq on March 15, 2010, 14:51
having had some probs with damping off, I've decided to try using Cheshunt compound on my seed compost before sowing. being my first time, i followed the measurements on the packet - and made 2 pints of the stuff.
of which, I have at least a pint left over!   i've poured it all back into a water bottle - will it keep? i'll be sowing and potting on next weekend, so wondered whether it'll be alright to use up the mix then?

thanks!

I'm guessing it will be fine - its just a Copper compound, isn't it? rather than some complex organic chemical which might break down over time / when exposed to light etc.
